  • Bedtime Storytime and Kids Clothing Collection
    Where/When:
    on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
    Why go: Take time out from school vacation for an evening of reading and crafts. The non-profit group Catching Joy will be collecting lightly used kids clothing to donate to kids in need.
    Price: Free.


  • Where/When: Wilson Mountain, Common St., Dedham on Saturday at 10 a.m.
    Why Go: Come along with on a free group snowshoe/hike adventure of Wilson Mountain in Dedham, with beautiful summit views of the Blue Hills and the Boston skyline. Head over on Saturday around 9:45 a.m. and enjoy a late morning hike from 10 a.m. to noon. Call the store for more information, directions to the trailhead and to reserve your spot, 800-650-6358.

  • Public Skating
    Where/When:
      on Sunday from 2:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
    Why go: Head to Flood Omni Rink to lace up those skates and enjoy an afternoon of cutting the ice. Bring the kids, bring a date, or just go for some casual exercise.
