Dancing with the Dedham Stars Contestants to Hold Fundraisers This Weekend

Three dancers are hosting fundraiser to benefit the Dedham Educational Partnership as they prepare for the upcoming event on Feb. 1.

As this year's "Dancing with the Dedham Stars" event approaches, contestants are gearing up with a handful of fundraisers to help support their causes and efforts.

Three dancers in particular are poised to host fundraiser this weekend. 

Dancer Cheryl Kerr is holding a fundraising event Friday night in Dedham, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Beer, wine and appetizers will be served. All funds raised go directly to Dedham Education Partnership.

Star Judy Byrne is also holding a fundraising event at the Italian American Club at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Alexandra Shumway, who also this week released the second video in a four-part series she is producing as part of her fundraising efforts, is holding her fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 18 from 5-8 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to offer a $20 suggested donation; all proceeds benefit the Dedham Educational Foundation.
