The Wonderful Wizard of Oz: Acting Workshop for children 7-13

The Dragonfly Theater is proud to announce its third acting workshop for children: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! Your children will have the time of their life as they re-enact the entire story taken from L. Frank Baum's classic tale! Roles are guaranteed to every child who enrolls in the class. As our goal is to afford every child the chance to play a fun character while learning about theater.

Classes are every Saturday starting June 7th (and excluding June 21st). Class time begins at 9 and ends promptly at noon. Children ages 8-14 will learn theatrical skills and games during the first hour. The last two hours are devoted entirely to rehearsals.

The workshop ends on August 16th with two performances at 2 & 6 PM.

Tuition is $200 per student, which includes script, class, and costume materials. It will be taught by one of our resident directors, Josef Silvia, who has 11 years experience teaching children.
