The Brad Ellenberg Quintet is a dynamic, original jazz
band featuring Gary Bohan: trumpet/flugelhorn, Mario Cerra: saxophone,
Bob Abruzese: bass, Grant Smith: drums and Brad Ellenberg: guitar.
Ellenberg founded the essence of this group in 1993 as a trio and it has
evolved over the years to its current configuration and
personnel. This band is committed to creating original jazz music with
nearly forty originals in their book including thirty of Ellenberg’s as
well as additional selections from Bohan and Cerra respectively. They
are currently anticipating the release of their new CD, “Return
Engagement”, and have plans in the works for recording another one in
the summer of 2014.
