Roslindale Village
Celebrates Third Annual Customer Appreciation Day

Day-Long Celebration Promotes ‘Buy Local’ Mission for
Roslindale Community

Roslindale, MA – Entering its third year, Roslindale’s
successful Customer Appreciation Day will take place Saturday, June 21,
2014.  Originally proposed by Kathy
Lacher, co-owner of Boston Cheese Cellar, and then actively promoted by
Roslindale Village Main Street, Customer
Appreciation Day has developed in a short time into a celebration of shopping
locally and of the great Roslindale Village brick-and-mortar businesses.

“We are always trying to
think of ways to encourage people to shop locally, while at the same time
thanking those who do,” said Lacher.

Businesses are encouraged
to participate in any way they can; with big or small promotions. The goal is
to show their appreciation to customers and to establish relationships with new
customers.
