Letterpress & Gelatin Printed Journal Workshop

Autumn's colorful foliage will be our inspiration for this printmaking & bookmaking workshop.  Tree leaves and botanical specimens will be used for the gelatin printing method to create unique cover sheets, then each student will letterpress print various patterns from polymer plates to create decorative interior page sheets.  The class will then learn how to bind our journals using the five hole pamphlet stich.  Each studentw ill leave with four distinctive, handmade journals.  All materials for workshop will be provided. A light lunch and beverages will also be served.
