Community Corner

"Kaleidascope" an evening to celebrate community and the arts.

            MBACC FUNDRAISING GALA

                     SEPTEMBER 21st

Save the date – Kaleidoscope is coming!  The first annual Kaleidoscope, An Evening to Celebrate the Arts and Community, will

be held at the Motherbrook Arts & Community Center on Saturday, September

21, 2013.

This exciting event will benefit the Motherbrook Arts

& Community Center (MBACC), Dedham’s own

creative home for local artists, and art-oriented community center for Dedham residents of all

ages.  A recent ribbon-cutting marked the

historic re-purposing of the former Avery

Elementary School, giving new life to

the old building as a creative and educational resource for the Dedham community.

To bring this vision to life, the MBACC, a non-profit

organization, has received state and local grants and donations, but is

counting on an ongoing investment from the community to fully realize its

mission.  Kaleidoscope will be the first

major fundraising event to support this effort.

opportunities are available at several levels.
