Light the Night in Oakdale Square, 3rd Annual Holiday Event

Festive tree lighting holiday event with free refreshments, hot cocoa, cider and coffee. Santa will make an appearance and hand out holiday candies. Children will receive a candy-cane glo stick, and all celebrants will be treated to music from Lisa Maxwell, Church of the Good Shepherd Choir, WashTone Performing Arts and Dedham School of Music. The Oakdale Elementary children will also sing a few songs for the crowd.

The music and eating of treats will occur in the auditorium of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Oakdale Square (the entrance is on Cedar Street). Once the music performers have ended, we will head over to the Common to light the tree, where SANTA will arrive in style to greet the children and hand out treats. The 4:30 PM start time will take place in the auditorium so everyone is comfortable, dry and warm.

This even is sponsored by Oakdale Square Alliance and all are welcome. Please bring a non-perishable food good for the Dedham Food Pantry.
