Educator Open House with FableVision Learning and Author David J. Smith

The Blue Bunny Bookstore will be hosting an Educator Open House with
the FableVision Learning team and a special presentation by
award-winning author David J. Smith, introducing his new book If: A
Mind-Bending New Way of Looking at Big
Ideas and Numbers, and speaking about his work and teaching methods.
David is author of the bestselling If the World were a Village and won
the U.S. Department of Education’s “A+ for Breaking the Mold” Award for
his work. He gives lectures and workshops on informational technologies,
geography and global issues to teachers, parents, student groups and
others throughout the United States and in Europe, Africa, Asia and
Latin America.  David is also the creator of the best-selling geography product "Mapping the World by Heart."  Educators are also invited to speak with the FableVision Learning team to see what resources and projects might be available to help them.  Light refreshments will be served.
