DEDHAM, Ma. The Town of Dedham would like to invite the public to participate in

What
is the Dedham Greenway?

The
Dedham Greenway is a community-led effort to transform a 1.2 mile stretch of
abandoned railway into a new linear park and cultural greenway. At this time
our consultants are initiating a feasibility study and planning process to
convert the abandoned railway into a pedestrian and bike path, which will incorporate
public art and community gardens, as well as connect the adjacent neighborhoods
to each other and to Boston.

What
will happen at the visioning session?

We would
like your input to help create a vision for the Dedham Greenway that identifies
potential recreational and educational activities, cost estimates and economic
opportunities, and addresses safety and security concerns.

Where
and When will the meeting take place?

Our first
meeting will take place at the Endicott Estate, 656 East Street, Dedham on
Wednesday, February 12, 2014, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
