The warning is in effect until 11 p.m.

The National Weather Service has dropped the tornado warning back to a tornado watch, as of 7:40 p.m., for parts of Norfolk County. The watch is in effect until 11 p.m.

NWS said a tornado watch means conditions “are favorable for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and listen to later statements for possible warnings,” said NWS.

Meanwhile, a severe thunderstorm warning has also been issued for parts of Norfolk County and surrounding areas.
