A roundup of notes from our social media platform during the last week.

Here at Dedham Patch, we take social media pretty seriously.

The platform is one way we look to interact with you, answer your questions and get to see what's on your mind. Social Media Sunday is a weekly feature where we highlight your questions and thoughts you've shared on FacebookTwitter and other media throughout the past week.

We'll also point you to some new and interesting pages you may not have known about before.

Highlights of the Week

  • Forty-five people recommended the audio fo Ronald Brock's . A couple folks liked the comment on our Facebook page.
  • Thirty-one people recommended the story and video of thevote on Monday to their Facebook friends. 
  • We had five people vote on our Facebook poll question this week: Would you support pool tables at a Dedham restaurant? Currently, none exist. Sagra's owner is petitioning the Board of Selectmen to have . Through Sunday, the vote was tied 2-2, with one person voting they would favor it if the bar was a sports bar as well. 
  • On Friday, the added pictures to their gallery from the Stamp Out Hunger Drive last weekend.
  • Dedham-based asked their Facebook fans how often they delve into a cheese pizza from one of their restaurants. Through Sunday, 170 people had checked a virtual answer. Check out the results.

  • This week's Page of the Week goes to All America City Award - Dedham, a town-operated page dedicated to gaining support for Dedham to win at the . The delegation has begun preparations and practiced their presentation. They are still looking for help to fund the group to make the trip. The delagation includes town officials, high school music performers, and members from the youth commission.
