Social Media Highlights of the Week: June 20-26

Here at Dedham Patch, we take social media pretty seriously.

The platform is one way we look to interact with you, answer your questions and get to see what's on your mind. Social Media Sunday is a weekly feature where we highlight your questions and thoughts you've shared on Facebook, Twitter and other media throughout the past week.

• Dedham-based Sunshine Maids posted on our Facebook wall that they will clean one cancer patient's home for free each month beginning in July.
• We asked this week what your favorite summertime activities are in Dedham, and we're still taking answers as we turn the calendar into July.
• When asked what our Twitter followers thought of Whitey Bulger's arrest, Boston Gala Girls responded, "It certainly does speak to the power of advertising!!"
• We are up to 669 followers on Twitter - let's push for 700! - and 323 fans on Facebook.
