Social Media Highlights of the Week: Aug. 15-21

A roundup of notes from our social media platforms during the last week.

Here at Dedham Patch, we take social media pretty seriously.

The platform is one way we look to interact with you, answer your questions and get to see what's on your mind. Social Media Sunday is a weekly feature where we highlight your questions and thoughts you've shared on FacebookTwitter and other media throughout the past week.

We'll also point you to some new and interesting pages you may not have known about before.

  • Jack & Eric's Pirate Lemonade Stand announced they raised $1,172 for the PinkRose Foundation from their sales at the this summer.
  • The Animal Rescue League of Boston, Dedham Branch put out a call adopted earlier this month from the shelter. The Hyde Park family is still searching for their pet.
  • told us via Twitter that they are "rolling out a Crossit Craic designed menu. You'll have to come try it once it's finalized."
  • We added nine followers on Twitter this past week to boost us up to 743.
  • On Facebook, we added six fans in the past week - keeping talking us up and tell people to hop on and "fan" us.
