Ramble Roundup: James Joyce Ramble Schedule, Start Times

Dedham's famous James Joyce Ramble returns today to celebrate 30 years. Here is the full schedule of events.

Today, Sunday April 28, marks the return of Dedham's annual James Joyce Ramble 10K.

The event has been a regional Championship for the active New England running association for several years, but this is the first time that the Ramble will be a nationally recognized event. This year the run will host the American Masters 10K Championship.

“Our continuing success is a testament to the hard work of the organizing committee, support of local business and wide community support," organizer Martin Hanley told Dedham Patch.

Security for this year's event has been increased due to the recent Boston Marathon bombings. As such, there will be no bag check-in at the James Joyce Ramble. Attendees are encouraged to have a family member or friend take care of bags or to leave clothing in vehicles.

Below is the full schedule of events for today (click here to see the full course map).
