Patch Picks: 5 Summer Camps to Send Your Kids

We've come up with five places to send your kids to summer camp this year.

Here are five places to send your kids to camp in and around Dedham:

  1. Dedham Community House Day Camp: By far the most popular with our readers this week, the DCH Day Camp starts June 27 and features plenty of field trips, archery, swimming, fishing and a ton more. The camp runs through Aug. 26.
  2. Nobles Day Camp: Offering theater, boating, woodworking, dancing, and other activities, Nobles Day Camp runs from June 27 to Aug. 19 for children in grades one through seven.
  3. Dedham Country Day Summer Camp: Camp runs from June 27 through Aug. 19, and features swimming, sports, woodworking, arts and crafts, outdoor exploration, and cooking, among others.
  4. Hale Summer Camp - Westwood: Summer camp at Hale begins June 27 this year and runs through August. Campers engage in a variety of outdoor activities, from archery to ropes courses, a private swimming beach, a boat house, an outdoor activity pavilion, and more.
  5. New England Sports Academy - Westwood: Camp this summer runs from June 27 through Sept. 2. Camp features include the experience of multiple sports, parachute games, martial arts, gymnastics, baseball, basketball, and dance. Other programs include hands-on science, math, and archeology activities.
