Never Stop Learning, Register for Dedham Evening Courses

Classes cost as little as $20 for a one night seminar and run from between one and two hours for one, two, four, or six evenings.

 

Dedham Evening Courses Winter/Spring session begins Monday, Feb. 25, 2013.  All courses will be offered on Mondays at Dedham Middle School and are open to all residents of Dedham and the surrounding communities.  

You do not have to be a resident of Dedham to join us for evening courses. Through our evening course program, we hope to provide quality lifelong learning experiences that are accessible to a wide range of community members. We seek to offer interesting educational, cultural, and skill-building classes at a reasonable cost.

Classes cost as little as $20 for a one night seminar and run from between one and two hours for one, two, four, or six evenings.  Winter/Spring courses will be held on the following Mondays;  Feb. 25, Mar. 4, Mar. 11, Mar. 18, Mar. 25, Apr. 1--Snow Date:  Apr. 8

This Winter/Spring we are pleased to announce a variety of classes.   Courses being offered are the following:

Calligraphy, Creativity Café, Crochet Basics and Beyond, Introduction to Cake Decorating, Introduction to Oil Painting, Beginning and Moderate Yoga, Bollywood, Hustle and Merengue Dancing, Rumba and Nightclub Dancing, Zumba, Estate Planning and Living Trusts – Why Many Estate Plans Don’t Work, Maximize Your College Financial Aid, Apple 101:  Basic Understanding of an Apple iPad, Intro to Photo Editing & Organization

Microsoft 101: Basic Understanding of the Windows based Personal Computers, Microsoft PowerPoint for Beginners, Microsoft Word Advanced, Surfing the Web Using Google and Internet Explorer and Introduction to Photography

A course catalog detailing course descriptions, costs, and starting times, along with a registration form and an online registration link, may be obtained by accessing the Dedham Public School website at www.dedham.k12.ma.us/evening_courses.html.  Course catalogs and registration forms are also available at the Dedham libraries or Dedham Middle School main office.
