My name is Travolta and I am about a year old. We are not sure of my breed, which makes me a "grade" rooster.
I am a big and handsome guy with beautiful gray coloring. I can cohabitate with hens, small birds and even other roosters! The staff here thinks I am a pretty friendly rooster and I agree. People are nice - especially when they feed me and give me yummy treats.
I was found as a stray and brought to the shelter in mid-June. I am so excited because the staff tells me that I will be adopted one day since I am such a nice boy. I can’t wait to have a nice coop with a family of hens and roosters of my own.

I would like human companionship as well. I will eat from your hand and will approach you once I know you. I have been tested and banded through the state and I am healthy!
Please check with your town ordinances regarding owning a rooster. Not all towns allow chickens in residential areas, and towns that do sometimes do allow roosters. I crow sometimes, but I am really not that loud. If you are interested in learning more about me please call the at 781-326-0729 or stop by and visit me.
