Letter to the Editor: Man Thanks Dedham Resident for Going Beyond to Find Owner of Lost Wallet
I wanted to let people out in Dedham know that there are still good young people in this world.
Dear Editor,
My daughter lost her wallet on a Peter Pan bus when she went to visit friends at UMass Amherst a few weeks ago. The wallet had cash, credit cards, her student ID, driver's license, and keys to her car and dorm. We canceled her credit and debit cards, called Peter Pan, and pretty much gave up hope. She had lost her wallet in Israel, and we never saw it, or its contents, again.
Imagine our surprise when a young lady named Jessica Louissaint of Dedham created an account on Twitter to find my daughter. This led to my wife and I driving to Dedham.

Jessica returned the wallet--with $130 cash and everything intact. What a wonderful young lady! We gave her a reward, but I wanted to let people out in Dedham know that there are still good young people in this world. We met her Sunday, just as she arrived home from church with her family. She deserves the plaudits of everyone in her town. What an amazing young lady!
