Graphic Artist

Summary: Create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. Needs to have a high level of creativity and able to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients. Education/Experience: Associates degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required; Bachelor degree in design or related field preferred. 5-7 years experience required. Skills and Competencies: Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem solving ability. Ability to utilize various forms of media, including print, electronic and film. Ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design. Previous experience using the computer to create layouts and generate new images. Experience with Adobe publishing and graphics software. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, analyze and create visual solutions to communication problems. Develop overall layout and production design of publications or web interfaces as they relate to graphic design. Prepare sketches or layouts to present to client. Create charts and graphs from data given.

Under the supervision of the Creative Director and Art Director, the Graphic Designer develops design recommendations for all Citizens Financial Group literature and publications from concept to completion. He/she is responsible for development and design of a variety of corporate communications, across multiple forms of media, all while ensuring brand consistency and meeting deadlines. The role requires a thorough knowledge of design applications and the ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment. This position handles alot of production work -- graphic designer should have a good eye for branding and be able to handle volume while having attention to the small details for accuracy. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• In coordination with the Creative Director and Art Director, the Graphic Designer prepares design solutions that reinforce the corporate brand at every point.
• Creates compelling communications using company graphic standards that fit within the overall corporate branding from concept to completion.
• Capable of and flexible enough to handle small print production jobs, as well as larger, creative concepts within given timeframes and at an optimal budget. • Reviews and approves printers'' proofs, researches photography and illustration, and works with Production to supervise printing.
• Maintains knowledge of typography, design, electronic pre-press, print production and electronic publishing hardware and software (charting, scanning, image retouching, illustration, page layout, etc.).
• Maintains on-line job code/filing system.
• A versatile, team player. Works well with Account Management team and can take direction from both Account Managers and Art Director.

Call Center Representative

Dedham - The Mergis Group

Duration: 3 month+ contract

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30-5pm with some overtime

Responsibilities:

• Handles incoming calls in reference to education loans
• Answers questions and provides assistance on application status and technical issues
• Upsells new products to customers

We’re seeking a creative professional with at least one year of grooming experience under the leadership of a professional groomer, or a graduate of a licensed grooming program. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. To take on this role, you must successfully complete a personal skill evaluation by an approved Petco Pet Stylist or Grooming Salon Manager. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work around fur and dander is also required.
