Great Bargains to Let You Enjoy the Beach

After a less than perfect first half of 2011, beach weather is finally here. Many of us who think of ourselves as beach lovers (Frugal Family included!) will say it has been worth the wait. An 80-degree day, absent of humidity, reminds us why we live in New England. 

FF has spent some quality time this past week in search of beach-worthy bargains. From packing the cooler, to staying safe in the sun, you don't have to venture far to gather all the makings of a fantastic family trip to the beach of your choice.  Aren't we all so lucky to have so many choices?

1. DEAL:  Beach umbrella table - $8.99. This fabulous little invention slides onto your beach umbrella pole, locks in place at your desired height and has four beverage holders, and plenty of room for snacks. If you aren't already a BJ'S member, ask for a one-day pass at member services.
