Five Things You Need to Know: Feb. 20, Love Your Pet Event, Storytime and More

Today's Weather: Today there will be increasing clouds, with a high near 37.  For tonight, partly cloudy, with a low around 20, according to The National Weather Service.

1. T.G.I.Friday's, 750 Providence Hwy. in Dedham, will have  Job Seeking and Opportunities Networking event at 6 p.m. Come meet and network with others in Dedham!  Find your new work position or opportunity to increase income.  The event costs $5 in advance and $8 at the door.

2. The Dedham Republican Town Committee will meet at The Endicott Estate, 656 East St. in Dedham, tonight at 7:30 p.m.

3. Whole Foods Market, 300 Legacy Pl. in Dedham, will have a free Stories and Snacks event at 9:30 a.m. Kids of all ages are welcome.  And a guest reader will share one of their favorite stories while a staff member gets the kids involved with simple food related activities like smoothie making!

4. Sheep Skate Yarn & Craft, 549 High St. in Dedham, will have a Kids Knit class at 5 p.m. The class costs $15 to join.

5. And The Blue Bunny, 577 High St. in Dedham, will have a free "Love Your Pet Day" event at 11 a.m. The Animal Rescue League of Boston will be visiting with some animal friends for show and tell. Feel free to bring clean towels and sheets or new pet toys and treats to donate if you want.
