Diana McNamara, Runner-up for Local Photo Contest

Photo contest captures unique images of each season.

Whether your heart sank or your spirits sailed, last weekend we all watched the snow transform our landscape.

While nature doesn’t always work with such speed, each New England season offers striking images, changing our experience of the Blue Hills each time we visit.

In the Season of the Blue Hills photo contest, 50 people from 20 different towns submitted over 100 images that capture how each season transforms the Blue Hills and our experiences in nature.

The contest was sponsored by the Friends of the Blue Hills and awarded prizes to those individuals who received the most electronic votes.
