Dedham Square Businesses Ready for Robert Downey Jr. Film

The film crew for "The Judge" will be filming in Dedham Square for two days in July.

 

On July 11 and 12, the crew for Robert Downey Jr.'s film, .  And businesses feel that they are ready for anything.

George Katsiaunis is the manager of Cafe Bagel and believes that no one should worry about traffic.

"It shouldn't be too much," he said. "With the construction, everyone is use to it so it shouldn't be too bad."

The crew will be filming on High Street mostly during the day, from Bullard Street to Old River Place. During that time, the roads will be closed off and Dedham Police will assist in redirecting traffic.

Mocha Java owner Steve Carlson isn't worried about the possible crowds in the area because there have been film crews in Dedham in the past.

"We're just going to take it as it comes," he said. "We've had crews before getting coffee."

However, Eaci from Regina's bakery is excited about the possibility of Robert Downey Jr. stopping by the shop.

"I would love for him to come by," she said.  "I would be in shock."

"The Judge" is starring Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Duvall and is set to be released in 2014, according to IMDb.
