Dedham Hangs Up T-Mobile; Thumbs Up for Dogs, Football

The Board of Selectmen on Thursday endorsed a plan by the Parks and Recreation Commission to launch a new pilot dog park at the on Common Street. That plan needs the OK from town health officials, and would be a three-month pilot program to evaluate use.

Town zoning officials are looking to William Keegan to help mediate a compromise between Dedham residents and T-Mobile after the Zoning Board of Appeals denied the mobile company's application to place a cell tower on top of 297 High Street.

The football team played its first Friday night home game in school history this weekend in front of more than 1,000 fans. Before the game the DHS Alumni Association thanked people who donated toward lights at the new athletic complex.

Dedham Girl's Soccer Nabs Fifth Seed

Following a division title, the DHS girl's soccer team will open the playoffs at home on Monday at 5 p.m. against Norton High School.
