If you've been talking about what a calm winter we've had, you've spoken too soon.
Just a couple days after the 35th anniversary of the Blizzard of '78, New England is expected to get a blizzard this weekend. Norfolk County could see more than 2 feet of snow, the largest snow accumulation since 2010.
We could see snow falling at 3-to-4 inches per hour and wind gusts of more thsan 20 miles per hour.
The National Weather Service is warning that "white out conditions will be possible..making travel very dangerous." And they are asking residents to be prepared to alter any travel plans.
“I think it's time to prepare for the biggest storm since December 26th and 27th of 2010,” WHDH-TV chief meteorologist Pete Bouchard writes in his latest blog post. “For the snow hounds, your ship might have finally come in.”
