Feb. 9 (5:03 a.m.) The Kumon of Dedham math & reading learning center will be closed today due to the storm.

Feb. 9 (4:49 a.m.) 229 residents are without power.

Feb. 8 (1 p.m.) Gov. Patrick issues vehicle ban starting at 4 p.m.

Feb. 8 (11:04 a.m.) All Eastern Bank branches will close at noon on Friday.

Feb. 8 (10:04 a.m.) The MBTA will shut down service at 3:30 p.m.

Feb. 8 (9:51 a.m.) Certain stores in Legacy Place have already announced that they will close for the day.  To get the full list of closings (in real time) just click here.

Feb. 8 (4:23 a.m.) The town announced that the following closings:

Dedham Public Schools closed all day (no early release as earlier reported)

Town Hall closed Friday

All non essential town employees are not to report tomorrow.

Library closed Friday and Saturday

Dedham Food Pantry closed Saturday

Dedham Transfer Station Closed Saturday

Dedham Pool closing at 1pm on Friday closed all day Saturday

Dedham vs Wellsley swim meet postponed until 24th

Dedham Recreation Gymnastics canceled for Saturday

 

Feb. 7 (1:57 p.m.) Half Day for all Dedham Public Schools on Friday, Feb. 8.

Feb. 7 (1:44 p.m.) The Town of Dedham has declared a snow parking emergency that will be in effect at 12 p.m. Friday Feb. 8 through 8 a.m. Monday Feb. 11.  The following information was provided by the town:

1. All residents with driveways are expected to use same, and remove their cars from the   streets.

2. Except where otherwise posted, residents without driveways will park on the EVENside of the street during the even-numbered months, and on the ODD side of the street during the odd-numbered months.  No parking on sidewalks.

3. No on-street night time parking will be allowed on:

East  Street (High St to Rte 128)

Common Street

East Dedham Sq.

Milton Street

Court Street

Oakdale Sq.

Needham Street

Sanderson Ave

 

 

 

High Street

Dedham Sq.

Bussey Street

Ames Street

Sprague Street

Washington St (Dedham line to Westwood line)
