Attention-Loving Wendy Wants a Home Like the Kittens

My name is Wendy and I'm an 8-year-old tortoiseshell kitty with long hair.

I have been at the shelter since January and it's time I find my forever-home. My ideal home would be one with no other pets and older children. The only reason I say older children is because I don't like to be picked up and sometimes little ones don't understand my body language.

I am an overall sweet kitty who loves attention. I will sit at your feet and rub against your legs purring and chirping.

Now is the time of year that I sit in my cage and watch kitten after kitten get adopted and no one gives me a second look. I was a kitten once too and like they all do, I grew up!

I promise I will make a good companion and provide lots of love and laughs. I do have bursts of energy and like to play with toys but, sleeping on a nice soft couch sounds the best right now.
