Today's weather, library changes and All-America City victors announced.

"Five Things you Need to Know Today" is a Patch column that provides readers with essential, daily information at a glance. 

  1. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms today with a high temperature of 75 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
  2. Beginning in September, the will be open on Saturdays and the will be closed, following a vote by library trustees yesterday. The Endicott will remain open on Saturdays during the summer.
  3. kids will enjoy the weather - if the rain holds off - as they take part in their annual field day today.
  4. Stop by tomorrow at 7 a.m. for a free fitness class with Solid Body Fitness. Participants must be 18 or over and need to visit the customer service desk to sign-up.
  5. The winners of the All-America City contest will be announced this evening at 7 p.m. Dedham is vying to be one of 10 chosen when judges make their decision out in Kansas City. Check with Patch later to see if delegates will bring home good news.
