It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Dedham Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to hit and new bars/restaurants/shops to explore.

  1. Nobles (Post 50th) Dinner
    Where/When: Friday at the Castle from 5 to 9 p.m.
    Why go: To reminisce on fond memories with fellow graduates as part of a reunion weekend for those celebrating the post-50th anniversary of their graduation.
    Pricing: Free for alumni.


  2. Where/When: Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Nobles.
    Why go:  To participate in the “nation’s largest single-day food drive.”  The school will be an operating station of sorts for the Dedham National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger Drive.
    Pricing: Volunteers needed.


  3. Where/When: Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Dedham Square and at the.
    Why go:  To enjoy the original works of 75 local artists as they pull their respective curtains.
    Pricing: Free

  4. Solo Acoustic
    Where/When: Friday at 9:30 P.M. at .
    Why go:   To hear the human jukebox in action; requests welcomed.
    Pricing: Entertainment always free.

  5. Solo Acoustic
    Where/When: Saturday at 9:30 p.m. at The Village Manor.
    Why go: To kick back with some acoustic-suited classic rock covers, soak in the atmosphere, and support an on-hours musician.
    Pricing: Everything off the menu is free.
