This weekend is full of ways to achieve satisfying merriment for all types to provide the means to summer-ready bliss.

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

  1. Boston Banjo Bash
    Where/When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday all over .
    Why go: To listen to some banjo music played by international stars of the jazz banjo.  Strings will be plucked rain or shine.

  2. Whole Foods Market Boot Camp
    Where/When: Every Saturday this month from 7 to 8 a.m in the parking lot.
    Why go:  To get in shape for beach season as Whole Foods and Solid Body Fitness lead a series of salubrious drills, stretches, and exercises.  Light breakfasts and protein samples provided.
    Pricing: Free, though pre-registration required through Whole Foods Customer Service Booth.

  3. Judy Moody Onstage!
    Where/When: Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the .
    Why go:  To see a live rendition of your favorite Judy Moody book series.
    Pricing: Free; ticket reservations can be obtained through the Fiddlehead Theater Co. by calling 781-329-1901.

  4. Bruins Game 2 of Cup Finals
    Where/When: Saturday at 8 p.m. at the .
    Why go:   To catch the game on any of several flatscreen T.V.s available at a well-stocked watering hole.
    Pricing: Free, beer notwithstanding.

  5. Children’s Choir Sings
    Where/When: All day Sunday at the .
    Why go: To hear the local children sing their little hearts out, watch their agonizing rehearsal time pay off.
    Pricing: Free
