    Saturday and Sunday across the state.
    Why go? Big ticket items are a must when you take away the 6.25 percent that goes to Beacon Hill. Whether it's a new couch, television or mattress, now is the time to get it.

  2. 109th Annual Fairbanks House Reunion
    When/Where: Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the .
    Why go? Travel back in time for a day as craftsmen and women will make baskets by hand, play games and sing songs from the early 18th century. This event is a continuation of Dedham's 375th anniversary celebration.
    Pricing: Free


  3. When/Where: Sunday at 8 a.m., leaving from Greendale Avenue Worship Center in Needham.
    Why go? Join fellow motorcyclists from the area as they ride 300 minutes from Needham into New Hampshire in celebration of Needham's 300th birthday.
    Pricing: Lunch money and a full tank of gas.

    Why Go:
    As part of the National Marine Life Center's upcoming Mermaid Ball, all ages are welcome.

    Why Go:
    Join other parents to learn the basics of signing with their babies and toddlers through songs, stories and familiar nursery rhymes.
