Cal Ripken Coaching Clinic Saturday, Feb. 9

Dedham Youth Baseball Parents and Coaches,

We wanted to let you know about an incredible opportunity to improve your skills as a Baseball Coach!

On Saturday, February 9th at Norwood High School (just down the road), Cal Ripken Baseball will be putting on a Coaching Clinic. The Lead Instructors will be MLB Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, Jr. and MLB veterans Bill Ripken and John Habyan.

The clinic will be a full day—6 hours full of instruction from 10am-4pm. What’s covered?

The Ripken Way
The coaching philosophy established by Cal Ripken, Sr. - a foundation for baseball success: Keep it Simple, Make it Fun, Celebrate the Individual, and Explain the Why.

Breakout Sessions on Hitting, Pitching & Defense
Cal, Bill and John cover every aspect of the game, moving through the fundamentals required for success to the advanced drills that can give your players and edge.

Interactive drill demonstrations - get on stage with Cal, Bill & John!
Throughout the clinic, coaches will have the unique opportunity to climb on-stage and work alongside Cal Ripken, Jr., Bill Ripken and John Habyan to demonstrate complex drills for the audience.

Direct Q&A sessions
Have a question and just can't find the answer? Ask the guys who have spent more than four decades in the major leagues.

Take it all home
Bring your notepad if you'd like, but every coach will go home with a detailed coaching manual that reinforces the critical points of the day.

Great for coaches of any level, baseball enthusiasts, or parents wanting to know more about the game! The clinic is open to adults ages 18 and over.

Dedham Youth Baseball has secured a Special Group Rate of only $75. To register, simply go to www.DedhamYouthBaseball.org or http://www.ripkencamps.com/coachingclinics.cfm or call (443) 327-8064 and reference Dedham Youth Baseball!
