Softball honors their teams, coaches, and sponsors at a great night at Endicott!!

Being forced inside of Endicott Estate due to rain may have seemed like trouble for DGS, but actually made the night more fun and memorable!

Awards Night a Great Success for Dedham Girls Softball

While it seemed  poetic that it rained on June 13 and would spoil the “picnic” that Dedham Girls Softball had planned to end their Spring 2012 season, since the event was planned for the Endicott Estate brilliantly by Doreen Labreque all we had to do we hustle everyone inside and, as a result, probably had an even better time as the laughs, cheers, and smiles that were on display were magnified tenfold as the players and teams of 2012 were feted by the Master of Ceremonies Extraordinaire, Mr. Ralph “I Bleed DGS Maroon” Wadman!

After filling up on pizza and sodas, the teams were honored and presented with gifts from DGS for the great play and participation this season. Always emphasizing that in his (and DGS’ mind) the coaches and sponsors are the MVPs, Raplh announced the DGS Most Improved Awards that were given to those players who shined in this way this Spring Season.
