Dedham Girls Softball Kicks Off 2012-13 Season with New Board Elections!

This past Tuesday found the Dedham Girls Softball (www.dedhamgs.com) wrapping up the 2011-2012 season and beginning the 2012-13 season. The first order of business was to elect its Board for the season.

The Board represents Dedham Girls Softball in all aspects of scheduling, finance, equipment, fields, fundraisers, and town communications for the young girls who play spring, summer, and tournament softball as well as the various programs and clinics that are offered year round.

The nomination of this Board also called to end the incredible support and leadership of this past season’s Director, Steve Boudette. Steve’s leadership was greatly utilized and appreciated, and DGS can breathe a sigh of relief that Steve, despite having his year come to a close, has agreed to stay on as a “member-at-large” and help the Board with its various duties.

This upcoming season’s Board will be represented as follows: Director Frank Bolotte, Assistant Director/Media Rep Charlie Kelly, Parliamentarian Chris Cawley, Secretary John Coyle, Treasurer/Registrar Ralph Wadman, Spring Coordinator/PR Rep Melissa Egan, Fields & Equipment Coordinator Matt Keyes, and Umpire –in-Chief/Summer & Tournament Coordinator Brian Mitchell.
