Needham Bank Sponsors Birthday Wishes CakeWalk 2014
DEDHAM, MA, ISSUED May 6th, 2014…Needham Bank is proud to expand its commitment to the communities it serves by sponsoring Newton-based Birthday Wishes and its annual CakeWalk event.
Since 2002 Birthday Wishes has been providing birthday celebrations for homeless and disadvantaged youth throughout the Greater Boston and MetroWest area. The CakeWalk, their annual fundraiser, will be held at Millennium Park at 300 Gardner St, West Roxbury, MA on Sunday, May 18, 2014 from 7:45-11:00AM.

They epitomize what community involvement really means,” said Mark Whalen, President and Chief Operating Officer of Needham Bank. “Supporting this wonderful organization makes a difference in the lives of each child that Birthday Wishes helps. “We’re so pleased that Needham Bank supports Birthday Wishes and the Birthday Wishes CakeWalk”, said Lisa Vasiloff, Executive Director of Birthday Wishes. “The Bank has been a champion of children’s educational and developmental needs in the Greater Boston community, but they also understand the importance of making sure each child feels special on their birthday.”
All attendees will participate in the non-competitive 5k and 1/2 mile walks either as individuals, or as teams, to help raise funds for Birthday Wishes.

Once the walk is complete, participants can enjoy family friendly activities at Millennium Park, including kite flying, face painting, games, a raffle, and live entertainment. For more information, please visit birthdaywishes.org.
