Uno's Honors VA Hospital Patients for Veteran's Day

Pizzas, Flags and Family to say "Thank You."

UNO Chicago Grill in Dedham will take time out on Nov. 12th to say “Thank You” to our veterans, by serving individual deep-dish pizzas and bringing flags to patients staying in the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in West Roxbury, Massachusetts.

This will be the fifth consecutive year that UNO Dedham has brought
pizzas and flags to the VA Hospital on Veteran’s Day.

UNO Staff has also made similar deliveries in Baltimore, Washington, and Chicago. “It’s our chance to give back to the vets for what they have done to keep the country free,” said Bill Golden, VP of Operations for UNO, “Over the course of two days, we probably fed over 1,000 vets.”

UNO corporate staff, General Managers, Servers, Local Marketing Teams and some of their families and children will volunteer their time on Monday November 12th to deliver the pizza and talk with the veterans.

In past years, many stories have been shared during these deliveries and it has been heartwarming to see how many people remember their veterans and come out to volunteer in this effort.

UNO Chicago Grill in Dedham is committed to paying tribute to their local Veteran’s Affairs Hospital each and every year.
