Photos: On a Date, or with Family, Holes-in-Ones at McGolf Mini Putt are Awesome

Nothing like taking advantage of a sunny fall day at McGolf in Dedham.

Four-year-old Will Donahue made TWO holes-in-one during mini putt on Monday at McGolf in Dedham.

Alec Hill found relaxation while playing 18 holes with his grandparents, brother, Gavin, and father.

And Callen Fitzgibbon laughed as her son, Callen, 2, putted his orange ball into the first hole, picked it out, putted it back in, and repeated the process several times.

These are just some slower movements around Dedham's favorite miniature putting course, (with a pretty good driving range, too!).

Min-Young Bae greeted Monday afternoon visitors from the mini putt shack offering bright-colored golf balls and putters.

"We both have the day off and decided to go mini golfing," smiled Ally Kane with Kevin O'Rourke.

"It's a good day for a date around Boston," said O'Rourke.

Little Donahue concentrated while his grandmother Ruthie Hunter putted. Hunter said her husband was playing "big boy" golf at the driving range.

Nearby the Hills were playing without keeping score.

"It's very relaxing," said Alec, while his grandfather, Barrie, in from England, putted.  When asked who would win, Alec said at that point based upon how they were all doing, his brother, Gavin, or his grandpa, would be leading.

But Alec, even with a smooth putting stroke, took the time to amble on the stone wall, and enjoy the time with his visiting grandparents.

Starting off at the first hole was two-year-old Callen Fitzgibben, who was playing with an orange golf ball the color of his hair. When asked what he liked best about golfing, Callen responded simply holding the ball in the air, "Orange."
