New Whole Foods Club 'Change Supermarket Experience'

The Dedham store is the first within the company to open a Wellness Club.

in Dedham unveiled its new Wellness Club last week in an effort by the national food chain to "change the supermarket experience for shoppers," reported USA Today.

The Dedham club was the first to open within the company.

"Wellness Clubs provide an inviting environment where members are empowered to make educated and positive lifestyle choices that promote long-term health and well-being through coaching, delicious food and a supportive community," according to the store's website.

For a one-time fee of $199 and monthly membership dues of $45, Wellness Club members have access to an array of cooking and healthy eating classes, a 10 percent discount on some products, receive discounts on personal cooking workshops and other cooking demos.
