Dedham will soon its very first Subway restaurant.

There are hundreds of Subway sandwich shops across the state and one will soon open in Dedham for the very first time.

The Town of Dedham Zoning Board of Appeals approved a permit allowing Subway to open an 18 seat, take-out restaurant at 27 Bridge Street at a meeting last month.

Roger Lee, owner of the Subway in  Natick told the board he would like to expand his franchise to Dedham.
