New Dedham 7-Eleven to Hold Grand Opening

7-Eleven will hold its grand opening celebration in Dedham on Nov.16.

The new 7-Eleven on Bridge street is expecting hundreds at their grand opening celebration next week.

The new convenient store will celebrate the opening on Nov. 16 from 11 to 2 p.m. with a DJ, tent and music according to event organizer Fatta Dulleh.

Dulleh said the celebration is just a way to let residents know the business is open.

No food or drink is expected to be served.

The Dedham selectmen approved the celebration but Vice Chairman Jim MacDonald warned the business to watch the noise level of the DJ's music.

MacDonald also expressed displeasure with the absence of the 7-Eleven store manager who failed to attend Thursday’s meeting.
