Locally Grown Fresh Food Hits Farmers Market in Dedham
The farmers market in Dedham Square starts Wednesday.
For the fourth year, the Dedham Farmers Market will open for the summer.
Vendors will lay out locally grown fruits and vegetables each and every Wednesday from June 15 to Oct. 26 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Wednesday marks the fourth year of the farmers market, started by Dedham residents Louise Reohr and Adina Astor.

Vendors for this season include:
- MacArthur Farm of Holliston - local produce
- Spring Brook Farm of Littleton - local produce
- Freitas Farm of Middleborough - local produce
- The Neighborhood Farm of Needham - local produce
- John Crow Farm of Groton - grass-fed poultry and meat
- Ferrara Greenhouse of Hyde Park - potted herbs, vegetable plants and annuals
- Lemon Thyme Farm - of Hanson - local honey, maple syrup, jams, preserves, mustard, muffin and cake mixes
- Burnin' Love Sauces - grilling and dipping sauces
- Dave's Cape Cod Smokehouse - smoked fish and meats
- Fastachi Nuts - nut and fruit mixes
- Fior D'Italia - fresh pasta, sauces, and mozzarella
- Foxboro Cheese Co. - Fromage Blanc and other cheeses
- Clear Flour Bread - winner of several "Best of Boston" accolades. Sourdough, baguettes, several varieties of focaccia and more.
- Swissbakers- European bread and pastries
- Jordan Brothers Seafood - wide variety of ocean fresh seafood including mussells, clams, crab, swordfish, haddock and much more.
- Still River Winery - apple ice wine
- Notting Hall Tea- specialty loose leaf teas
- Jack & Eric's Pirate Lemonade- all proceeds from the sales of their famous lemonade will be donated to The Pink Rose Foundation.
- On the Edge Knife Sharpening - specialty hand sharpening knife service
For the second consecutive year, the market will match every SNAP dollar up to $10.
