Kings Dedham Gives Away 600 Cheeseburgers - But Where's the One Launched into Space?!

There is a $1000 reward for finding the Kings Dedham cheeseburgers launched into space.

Kings Dedham gave away nearly 600 free cheeseburgers in a promotional giveaway launching Kings' new menu at Legacy Place on Wednesday. But that wasn't the only thing launched by Kings - they actually launched one of its new delicious cheeseburgers into space!

"Not a joke. We sent our cheeseburgers 90,000 feet into the atmosphere, via weather balloon, simply because we think they are the best cheeseburgers in the universe - literally," said Gabriel Moraga to Patch, the marketing manager of Kings Legacy Place in Dedham. Please see the attached video of the launch!

There is actually a $1,000 reward for anyone who finds the cheeseburgers that went into space, and you can get GPS information on their last whereabouts here.

Recently, Kings changed a lot of its menu items, particularly its burgers, as they now serve 4-oz. patties, and you can get a single or a double for $1.25 more. The burgers are priced well with the classic burger for less than $5. The burger is now 50% sirloin/25% chuck/25% brisket. There are also now specialty burgers like the Sunny Burger with caramelized onions, brie, bacon, pepper mayo, topped with a fried egg on a fresh potato roll.
