donated $20,000 to the Dedham 375 Committee on Tuesday, June 21.
The money will help pay for trolleys for the barbecue in September, one of the hallmark events being held to celebrate Dedham's 375th anniversary, said committee co-chair Marie-Louise Kehoe.
The committee also is teaming up with the American Red Cross in a drive to get Dedham residents to donate 375 pints of blood. The drive begins July 2 and will last through the summer, Kehoe said.
