Dedham Square Project Update: Final Asphalt Installation, Street Signage and More

Here's what contractors are doing in Dedham Square this week.

According to the contractors, the second installation of ashalt will continue this week on High Street, from Eastern Avenue to the Route 1 overpass.  For this reason, all vehicles will need to be moved from the area by 8 a.m. otherwise they will be towed.

This week additional regulatory signage will be installed throughout the square.

The contractors will also be performing night work until Thursday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.  This work will include finishing the retaining wall along High Street, installation of the final layer of asphalt and the installation of stamped and colored concrete.

Pay stations were installed last week throughout the square, but they will not be active until Oct. 1, according to the contractors.  So parking in Dedham Square will remain free until then.
