Business Spotlight: Paradise Cafe a Hub for Food, Drinks and Music

From live music to a variety of food and drinks, patrons can enjoy a living-room atmosphere at the local eatery in Dedham Square.

The Paradise Cafe in Dedham Square is the perfect destination for live music, good food and spirits.

Every Friday and Saturday night, the local eatery features a different band performing a wide range of music, from blues to soul, as well as jazz and rock.

Patrons can sit back and lounge on the comfortable couches in front of a gas fireplace while enjoying your glass of wine or featured brews. Dedham Patch sat down with Koushan to talk about what makes the Paradise Cafe a special place to go in Dedham Center.

Dedham Patch: How long have you been in business in Dedham Center?

Ali Koushan: We've been in Dedham for several years now.

Dedham Patch: What are some of the items you serve?

Ali Koushan: We serve homemade soups, salads, made to order panini's, cakes, muffins, scones, raspberry lime rickies, smoothies, beer, wine and the best cappuccino and cocktail coffee in town.

Dedham Patch: How often do you feature live music?

Ali Koushan: We have live music every Friday and Saturday night from 8:00 - 10 p.m. and also an open mic and game night every month. You can view our events on the front page of our Facebook page for concert listings. Note: Some event days and times may vary. Dedham Patch: Who are some of the featured performers that play at The Paradise Cafe?

Ali Koushan: We have had The Tumblin Dice, Joel Cage, Ashley Jordan, Terry Kitchen and so many more talented singers and songwriters. If you would like to be considered for booking at Paradise Cafe please message Raymond Brady at bookingparadisecafe@gmail.com. Please, original music only and we'll need about two months to review submissions.

Dedham Patch: The living room atmosphere seems like a perfect spot for meetings and/or functions.

Ali Koushan: I do offer private functions for any occasion and also have professional meetings here almost every day. I knew I wanted to design a warm and inviting atmosphere here for my customers to be as comfortable as possible.
