Some of the restaurant's specials include stuffed grape leaves, tzatziki dip, lamb kabob, meatballs, greek salad with shrimp and several chicken and beef dishes, among others.

When Gerald Coakley was working full-time as a lawyer, it was difficult for Coakley and his wife to make a meal with a busy work schedule. That's when he decided to pursue Heirloom Kitchen. 

The restaurant features family-size take-out meals that are locally sourced and designed "for the modern working family."

Walpole's Ninety Nine Restaurant was one of the top eight fundraising locations in a recent fundraiser to help benefit the Pine Street Inn in Boston. 

Collectively, the Ninety Nine's restaurants raised more than $121,000 through its annual “Have a Heart” raffle, held Feb. 25 through March 10.

Bert Buckley opened the Clam Shack in Attleboro with his wife Stacie last May, and said though it's his first foray into the food business, he doesn't regret it for a second.

Buckley, who owns Citywide Disposal Services and does public relations for Brewster Ambulance, said when the property became available, it was a no- brainer to purchase it for a restaurant.

Colonel Blackinton Inn: A Taste of History in Attleboro

The Colonel Blackinton Inn has stood in Attleboro for more than 150 years, and owner Antony Canova said he wants the long-standing icon to continue.

Chieftain Pub Brings Irish Culture to Plainville

Thomas and Mary Kahill bought what is now the Chieftain in September of 1995, but they started in the restaurant business a long time before that.

It's All in the Family at Sal and Mal's in Foxborough

Since opening 12 years ago in Foxborough, Sal and Mal’s Pizza has defined the meaning of a true family business.

Owner and operator Chris Politsopoulos said he has been in the pizza business for over 31 years, and now runs Sal and Mal’s with his wife, Linda and his sons, Paul and Nicholas.

Georgios Delis's father started Toti's in Pawtucket more than 30 years ago, and it's been a way of life for him since as far back as he can remember.

"The restaurant was like home, I was in here seven days a week," he told Seekonk-Swansea Patch. "We grew up in the restaurant, me and my sisters.”

Tony's Seafood a True Local Favorite

The Pirri family has been selling seafood, in one form or another, for four generations, and now sells it right from the boat at Tony’s Seafood in Seekonk.
