Speakeasy Party a Hit for DLIT [VIDEO]

The party capped off Dedham Reads, a month-long event.

Nearly 200 guests got into the spirit of a Prohibition-style party Friday evening as part of Dedham Library Innovation Team's Dedham Reads program.

The month-long celebration had residents reading common books and attending themed events throughout the month of March.

That was capped off Friday with a Speakeasy party with era-like dresses and cocktails.

Money raised from the event is set to benefit the Dedham Public Library.
