Over a hundred students gathered at Legacy Place in Dedham on Sunday to surprise shoppers with a  a vocal flash mob performance.

The mob was organized as a symbol of peace and harmony, according to Legacy Place Marketing Director Joan Jolley.

Student singers from Galvin Middle in Canton, Mansfield High, Milton High and Ursuline Academy surprised shoppers while singing, “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing” (In Perfect Harmony)" – a pop song which originated as an advertising jingle, produced by Billy Davis and sung by the Hillside Singers, for a 1971 Coca-Cola commercial.
