One-Woman Play On The Life Of Grace Fairbanks

The Fairbanks Family in America and The Dedham Historical Society are pleased to present accomplished Boston actress Beth Goldman in a one-woman play based on the life of Grace Fairbanks, one of Dedham's earliest settlers.

Grace and her husband Jonathan built the Fairbanks House, c.1637-1641, North America's oldest timber-frame house, after immigrating in the 1600's from Yorkshire, England.

Goldman's performance will highlight the challenges faced by early settlers in Dedham and offer historical insight into the life of Grace, her six children and her husband.
